The Member Care ministry at Johnson UMC is designed to enable us to take care of each other in times of need.  We do this through New Inquirers class, Prayer Bears, hospital and home visits, meal and household assistance and Prayer Warriors.

The New Inquirer's Class is coordinated by the Member Care team to introduce new attendees to the purpose and history of Johnson UMC.  They also learn and discuss the various ministries, activities and teams that they can serve.

Prayer Bears are stuffed bears that have been donated by the Johnson UMC congregation.  These bears have been prayed over to bring comfort and healing to those in need.  The Prayer Bears are then distributed to those around us that need a bit of comfort.

Our member care ministry team conducts hospital and home visits to check on people that are ill, welcoming a new baby or home bound.  The visitors also help coordinate meal and household assistance as needed. 

The Prayer Warriors are assembled to pray about any and all needs, concerns and blessings that are known.  Please feel free to email any prayer concerns that you may have and would like the Prayer Warriors to add.
